Update: Learning Commons Student Focus Group

The LC Student Focus Group convened to review plans/layout for the Learning Commons. The layout was based around their feedback from previous meetings and communication. They were able to discuss their thoughts and propose any changes. Students then engaged in a See-Think-Wonder activity based around furniture solutions. They were tasked with connecting what they saw/researched in furniture solutions to the overall Learning Commons goals and some focus goals that were presented (mobile, durable, multi-purpose, usable). Students shared out to the group some of their findings.

We had a very a productive discussion. This information/data will help guide the process when we pilot furniture and make purchases. Looking forward to our next meeting! :]

Lundy ELA

Check out Angie Lundy's students using the collaboration stations for edits and revisions. Students made suggestions for edits and revisions in teams! Look at that color coding! :) #priorknowledge

It was cool to see the students facilitating their own discussions and being awesome communicators.

ROX Concert

Shoutout to Ms. Buffa and her students for an excellent performance last night!
