How do people get anxiety?
You can get an anxiety disorders through family. Some families will have a higher number of people with anxiety than other families. Studies show anxiety disorders do run in families.
A different type of anxiety can come from your environment, a stressful/dramatic event can cause it.
Is there a way you can lower your risk of getting anxiety?
Sadly, there is no way to lower your risk if it runs in your family, But you can lower your risk if its caused by environment, all you have to do to prevent anxiety is take time to relive your stress and enjoy your self. A stress over load can lead to anxiety and other problems.
Anxiety is the most common metal illness in the us. It affects 40,000,000 people 18 or older in the us.
Panic disorder.
People with panic disorder have recurrent unexpected panic attacks, which are sudden periods of intense fear that may include palpitations, pounding heart, a fast heart rate; sweating; trembling or shaking; sensations of shortness of breath, smothering, or choking; and feeling of impending doom.
generalized anxiety disorder.
Generalized anxiety disorder produces exaggerated worrying about everyday life. This may consume hours each day, making it a strugle to concentrate or finish routine daily tasks. A person with GAD may become exhausted by worry and experience headaches, tension or nausea.
Obsessive compulsive disorder.
Obsessive-compulsive disorder is identified by repetitive, unwanted, intrusive thoughts those are known as obsessions. Irrational, excessive urges to do certain actions are compulsions. Although people with OCD may know that their thoughts and behavior don't make sense, they are often unable to stop them.
