Third Grade Thrills
March 24, 2016 ~ Mrs. Krogmann's Class
Happy Easter!
As we approach Spring Break, I would like to first take this opportunity to wish each of you and your families a most Happy Easter! I hope that you will have a chance to relax and enjoy some special times with your children. As always, I am so proud of how hard they have been working each and every day!
We have had a busy week wrapping up our mystery reader's workshop unit, our literary essay writer's workshop unit, and our engineering unit in science. The children have really enjoyed the engineering components to science this year. Your child is bringing home a STEAM Break packet with ideas of activities that involve science, technology, engineering, art, and math. While this is not homework, I thought the kiddos might enjoy trying an activity or two should you hear the famous phrase, "I'm bored." Why not turn Spring Break into a STEAM Break?
We have talked as a class how important it is to keep reading over break. Please remind your child about our Spring Break Reading Challenge. Kiddos who turn it in on Monday when we return will get a special treat for snack. Please enjoy our week in pictures below.
Happy Easter,
Melissa
