HERE WE GO! Another beautiful weather week coming up to get outside and play!
I have been thinking about all my Cherokee Wildcats since we haven't been in school! I hope you are all staying away from others as best you can. Wash your hands, play with your siblings and be nice to mom and dad. ;-) Help out around the house and READ some books!
MY KIDS HAVE BEEN DOING A LOT OF FUN ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE THESE PAST WEEKS:
4-SQUARE, BIKE RIDING AND ROLLERBLADING AS A FAMILY WITH THE DOG, SHOOTING BASKETS, TAG AROUND THE HOUSE OUTSIDE. MAKING UP GAMES AND GETTING CREATIVE - CHALLENGE YOUR SIBLINGS TO TRY AND MATCH YOUR SKILLS!!!
Below are some activities you can do. PE is probably the easiest thing to do when you're at home - there are SO many options from just doing our warm-up activities to making up a game. YouTube has lots of PE ideas and everyone loves to get moving with a pick from GoNoodle!

Follow the Cherokee PE Calendar
- If you can, print out the calendar and do the activities that are on each day! If you complete them all and bring the paper back to school with a parent signature, you can be entered into a drawing for some yummy prizes! If you missed the first few days - works extra hard and do them this week to catch up - you can still sign off on them after you do it.
ONLINE WORKOUTS TO TRY
Here are a few good workouts you can do. Try to get in 60 minutes a day of exercise! That could be a combination of our Cherokee Calendar, online workouts and playing outside!
Family Fun Board Game - you will need something to toss (rolled up socks, Nerf balls and a basket)
Cup Stacking - We haven't gotten started with this in school yet but maybe you've done it before. The video's show lots of examples - practicing and workouts with stacking cups! Challenge yourself!
