Whanau Learning Conferences

Kia ora,

Next week on the 23rd and 24th of June we will hold Whanau Learning Conferences. These have traditionally been called Parent/Teacher interviews, but as education continues to change and evolve, the new name really stands for bringing our families and teachers together for the advancement of our students. At these meetings you will receive a written report and your child’s class teacher will discuss your child’s progress and set future goals for the rest of the year. We also thoroughly encourage all of our senior school students (Rooms 1-3) to attend the first part of the interview with their parents/caregivers.

Please note that we aim to achieve a 100% turn out for our Whanau Learning Conferences so please take the time to click on the link below and book in a time to meet with your child’s class teacher:

School will finish at 2 pm for all students on both the 23rd and 24th June.

If you are unable to attend the learning conferences on the 23rd and 24th of June, please email your child’s teacher directly and they will book another date/time that suits. Their email addresses can be found here If we do not hear from you, your child’s teacher will just give you a quick call to book a convenient time for you to attend.

It is incredibly important for us to build and maintain positive relationships between our families and the school. Research has shown that the more invested parents/caregivers are in their child’s education, the better they do.

Thank you for your support.
