School Supplies

As we begin to approach the last two months of school, please continue to check your child's student planner for homework assignments, due dates, special events and notes from the teacher. Also, please continue to monitor your child's school supplies, many students are out of pencils, erases and notebook space and need to be replaced.

Each second grade class will continue having guest mystery readers on Friday's throughout the rest of year. In addition, this spring we would like to request guest volunteer speakers to come in and share their career and/or talent. If you are interested in coming in please contact your child's homeroom teacher.

Young Authors

We are very excited about our upcoming Young Author's book activity. During this month each second grade student will create a book and illustrate their book at school, this will take the place of our fourth quarter book report assignment. All tasks will be completed at school, in the classroom and students will share their books with their classmates and families at our Tea on June 10th 2014 at 9:45am. If you have any questions please contact your child's homeroom teacher.
