A Note from the Interim Principal
Dear Families,
Happy Leap Year Day!
As we move deeper into the season of Lent and closer to the anticipation of Easter, we will focus this week on vocations. Tomorrow, Sister Josetta of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word will speak with our 3rd and 4th grade students about her vocation and also answer their questions regarding vocations in general. On Wednesday, the 5th grade will spend the entire day at Saint John the Apostle School with all the other 5th graders in the Diocese of Fort Worth. These students will spend the day focused on vocations with Religious guest speakers and time in prayer. Finally, on Friday, five Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word who formerly worked at Saint Alice / Holy Family will visit from San Antonio providing yet another example to our students of the impact of those who have chosen religious life. We will have a school assembly in honor of these special visitors. Please join our students, faculty and staff in uniting your prayers with ours as we pray for an increase in vocations to religious life.
Blessings,
Veronica Tucker

Special Prayer Request for 2nd Grade
Please keep in your prayers the 2nd graders who will be making their First Reconciliation this Wednesday.
Reconciliation Prayer
Loving and forgiving God, your light and forgiveness always surround me.
Thank you for the people you have given me, who show me how to live,
who teach me about thoughtfuness and generosity,
who forgive me, like you do.
Each time I experience your forgiveness,
especially in the Sacrament of Reconciliation,
I know how much I am loved, I want to keep growing,
I want to live just like Jesus.
Thank you, Loving God, for your mercy and forgiveness.
Help me to always live what I pray, through Jesus, your Son.
Amen.

Pay Now Activated for Extended Care and Fee Billings
Pay Now is a new feature available in RenWeb. This feature allows parents to pay outstanding Extended Care or Fee balances online via an e-check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express). The parent pays all processing fees associated with the payment type (i.e., e-check ($.85) or credit card (3.75%)). To access this feature login in to your Parents RenWeb account, select “Family Information”, “Family Billing”. The Family Billing page details any outstanding balances. To make a payment select “Pay Now” and follow the instructions. This feature is not available for fees owed to Mr. Larry for lunch. Cash or checks payable to HFCS will still be accepted in the business office for any outstanding balance. If you have questions about this new feature contact Tracy Head at busmgr@hfsfw.org or 817-737-4201 x110.
