Shared Reading
In shared reading this week, our readers will continue learning about natural disasters using informational texts. Hurricanes: Earth’s Mightiest Storm by Patricia Lauber is our anchor text. While reading this text we will closely analyze text and graphic features and discuss how they help us further understand the story. Our readers are doing a fabulous job learning about natural disasters! Please ask them to share some of the new information they’ve learned the last few weeks.
