Model United Nations Club (MUN)

Model UN is where you simulate the real United Nations. The United Nations is where countries debate about certain topics and present their views on them. In MUN there is some debate, speaking, current events, writing, and much more. There will also be time for social activities and maybe even some food.
Model UN is for people who like social studies, are interested in current events, or for people who like speaking.

This club will be taking place in Ms. Bogue’s room, who is the social studies teacher on the G team. It will be in room #2107 after school and every Thursday from 2:45 to 3:30. The first meeting will be on Thursday, Oct 7.

Stilwell Students are readers... and Can Be Medeal-Winning Readers!

To kick off a school year of great reading habits, students are encouraged to participate in Stilwell Library's Reading Olympics Challenge! Participants choose from a variety of individual reading challenges on the Reading Olympics Challenge! document. Then they get reading! Any books read or started from the first day of school count toward bronze-, silver-, or gold-medal level prizes that will be announced after the October 8th deadline. The Stilwell library provides books and other resources for all junior high students from 7:20-3:00 each weekday (7:20-1:55 on Wednesday) with digital resources available 24/7. Let Franny Frey, Stilwell teacher-librarian, know if you have questions by emailing her at

Drop Off & Pick-Up Protocol

We understand our parking lot drop-off and pick-up process can be time-consuming. However, we need all families to follow the procedures to ensure our students are safe. Please remember these guidelines:

  • Do not use the back parking lot and blacktop in the back of the building.
  • Do not use the local business as a place to pick up your child.
  • Do not drop off your student or stop for any reason along Vine Street or Grand Avenue.
  • Do not pull into the bus lanes along Vine Street.
  • Do not allow your student to exit the vehicle until you have pulled up to the curb in the parking lot.
  • Please drive slowly through the parking lot.

Stilwell Student Handbook 20-21

Throughout this year you may have questions, need clarifications, or might need to see who you can turn to for help. Please start with the Junior High Schools Handbook.

Stiwell PBIS Focus of the Week

This week we will be paying special attention to appropriate hallway behavior. We ask that students are in their classroom seats and ready to go!
