Life Group UPDATE

March 1 & 2, 2014

Come Cheer On Woodland Parrish at Chili Cook Off This Sat. 11:00am

Come out and cheer our Woodland Parrish team on!

It's going to be a fun Saturday Mar. 1 and it's just $5 and kids under 12 get in free. You can sample all the chili, vote, and there is live music and more.

Woodland Parrish has a team entered into the annual Parrish Chili Cook off and a bunch of volunteers helping with the event too. We want to let Parrish know we are part of the community and get to know many new people.

If you have a Woodland shirt wear it.

It's at the Train Museum grounds out east on 301 past the bend at Highway 62.

Imagine Returns this Fall Church Wide

Back in 2008 our entire church went through a study written by pastor Tim called Imagine. Now it's time to re-Imagine. Would you believe that as many as half or more of our attendees and members were not even at Woodland 6 years ago?

Now it's time to re-Imagine with a new Group study based on Tim's book. It will not involve the videos this time, just a group study guide and the passages of Scripture as well as some church wide events to help flesh out some of the key steps.

It all starts Sept. 27 for nine weeks, ending just before the holidays.

Right now we need each Group to begin to pray and prepare to send out new leadership for new groups so we can get the whole church involved.

At our May 7 Life Group Leadership Rally we will walk you through it all.

GroupLink at Woodland Parrish Sunday, March 9 from 10:00am to 10:30am

GroupLink is a 30 minute event where you will meet and connect with others in your stage of life to find a Life Group, or even form a Life group. Life groups are small groups of 8-16 people that meet weekly in someone’s home for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. They are for adults of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity.

GroupLink is a great way to get connected into a group.

At GroupLink, we don't place you in a group — you choose your own.
