Lincoln Middle School Updates
May 7, 2021
Principal's Message
Lincoln Families,
There are 23 School Days left!
I am so thankful to be able to have students on campus on our hybrid schedule to complete the year. Our teachers are taking advantage of this in-person time to help catch students up at the tail end of the school year.
8th Grade Promotion Ceremony
This year's promotion ceremony will be held from 9:00 - 11:00 am on Friday June 11, the day after the school year ends. It will be a "walk-up" ceremony. Families will park off campus and walk from the East end of the parking lot, down the sidewalk toward the office. The high school class of 2025 will receive their promotion certificates and awards. We will have music and there will be a selfie station for families to capture this important milestone in their children's lives.
Our awards ceremonies for 6th and 7th grade are in the planning stages. We will have details to you soon.

Measure W Community Input
Last November Oceanside voters approved a $160 million school bond. Measure W funds will be used to improve OUSD facilities and grounds. On Tuesday, May 25 you will be invited to share your suggestions for how that money will be invested in the Lincoln campus. We will hold two meetings, one in English and another in Spanish at 6:00 pm. Be on the lookout for an invitation to a virtual (Zoom) meeting that evening. For more information on Measure W, please go to the OUSD district website at www.oside.us.
