AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD...
NEW ENTRANCE SIGN AT HSB
The new sign was built by Reliable Construction and is constructed with a metal frame painted with a 10 year marine grade paint. Four LED lights on each side were added underneath a beautiful copper overhang. The wording portion of the old sign was transferred to the new sign structure.
Our entrance looks terrific with this new sign and the freshly planted flower bed, done by volunteers during the Annual Cleanup Day!
LODGE LIBRARY
Please note, that any items brought to the lodge to share with others should only be left if space permits. If there is no available space, please consider making a donation to one of the following local donation centers:

JUST FOR FUN...
BABY FOX SIGHTINGS IN HSB!
Foxes reproduce once a year. Litters range from one to 11 pups (the average is six), which are born blind and don't open their eyes until nine days after birth. During that time, they stay with the vixen (female) in the den while the dog (male) brings them food. They live with their parents until they're seven months old.
The red fox is the largest fox in Texas and is the most common fox found in East Texas. Red foxes have red-orange fur with white on their snout and chest with a white-tipped tail and black hair on their ears and legs. Red foxes are omnivores and will eat whatever they can find including rodents, rabbits, vegetables, worms and even garbage and pet food.
