End of Day Transportation
Parents,
You can help us make sure your child's transportation change is handled correctly by getting your request to us no later than 2:00 pm. You may send a note to school, fax (936-276-4501) with a copy of your I.D., or email with a copy of your I. D. to LoneStarTransit@misd.org. We ask that you include your child's first & last name and their homeroom teacher.
Please avoid early pick up between 3:15-3:30. We release walk-up children at 3:31 to help parents get to afternoon activities. When parents decide to pick up their child in the last few minutes of class time, it disrupts the end-of-day procedures and routines of our classroom and school.
Thank you for helping us be efficient and safe!

Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, then to Be Understood
Habit #5 in The Leader in Me is Seek First to Understand, then to Be Understood
Seeking to understand before being understood means listen before we speak. Learning to listen will help children and adults become strong communicators. In school, this might look like listening without interrupting, speaking up when it is our time to talk, and working well in groups.
