Pasta with our Priests is this Friday

We are looking forward to the SLPA's first event of the school year - Pasta with our Priests. The SLPA will be serving spaghetti, fettuccine alfredo, salad, tea and water. There also will be plenty of desserts, a DJ playing some great music, and games for the kids.

Each family that attends this event will receive two (2) volunteer credits. To make it easy on everyone, if you would like to receive volunteer credit for attending this event, please complete the Pasta with our Priests RSVP Form so we can just check off your name when you arrive. We have enough desserts. Huge "thank you" to all the parents who have volunteered to bring a dessert.

See you Friday!

St. Louis Catholic Church Altar Server Training

Altar servers serve the congregation, the priests, and one another in celebrating the Mass. By learning to be an altar server, children provide vital assistance to the church and learn to respect themselves. It is a fulfilling way to start a lifetime of service to God.

To RSVP for the Altar Server Training, call Ivette Lopez at 254.716.9443 or email her at

Sign up to Volunteer

If you didn't get a chance to sign up at our Back to School Event to volunteer for some of our upcoming events, you can sign up online! We will update the list with more volunteer opportunities as the year progresses.

Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) Training

If you plan to volunteer for the school in any of these capacities (room parent, classroom parties, lunch visits, coach intramurals, chaperone dances, etc.), you must be EIM certified. To become EIM certified, you submit an EIM Application for Ministry (one time only) and attend an EIM Workshop every three years.

Please go to our website for detailed information about how to submit an application and to register for a workshop.

We have three upcoming workshops that will be hosted at the school:

Saturday, August 25 - 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Spanish)
