1. The ILEARN window for all Indiana students in Grades 3-8 is from April 22-May 17th. At Weston we began on April 25th. Our NEW schedule and more information about the assessment can found below.

2. Talent Show forms are due Monday April 29th.

3. Weston Elementary School will be serving as a pilot site through the end of May for a new program, Journey Bags. Journey Bags of Hancock County helps provide free clothing to children, ages infant to A collection box has been placed in the Weston lobby for families to donate new and gently used clothing for ages infant through 18. (See the flyer below for more details.)

4. Our YMCA will be hosting a Summer Day Camp this year at Harris Elementary. Want to learn more? Go to https://indymca.org/youth-development-center/summer-day-camp/ Employment opportunities are available too :)

5. If you missed our Kindergarten Round-Up please fill out this form and we will contact you with more information about the 2019-2020 school year.

6. Our monthly Weston EXTRA news is attached below. Check out all of the exciting things going on throughout the building in the month of May!

7. Help us ‘Make a Change’ for Riley Hospital for Children and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The week of May 20th we will have a ‘Jar War’ to raise money for these two worthy causes. Save your change for that week . . . . more detailed info to come. Plus, Mr. Davis will have a challenge that if met would have him sleeping on the Weston roof one night :)

8. Weston is the Spotlight School at the May 13th School Board Meeting. This year we will showcase the Read-Up program that we for our 3rd graders. Want to learn about the program? Join us on the 13th @ 7:00 p.m. at the Board Meeting :)

9. We will begin our final round of NWEA assessments next week. All grades K-10 will participate in this online assessment. See the attached letter that can explain the process and what to expect.

10. Our Awards Ceremonies at Weston will occur on Tuesday, May 28th in our gym.
