Winter break is from December 20-January 3rd.

School will resume on Tuesday, January 4th.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, November 22nd from 8 am-8 pm, and Tuesday, November 23rd from 8 am -12 pm. Please click the box below for links to sign-up for conferences. Conferences will last 5-7 minutes and will be on Zoom. If you need an in-person conference, please contact Kim Johnson, Principal, to make arrangements.

Shield Testing 11-9-21

James Hart School tested 687 students and staff through Shield on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, and there were six positive cases. There was also two other positive cases reported to the school. The positive cases and the close contacts have been personally notified about quarantine procedures. Classroom notifications have been emailed. The final results will be posted to the COVID dashboard on the HSD 153 web page.

MASKS

Please make sure your child brings an extra mask to school each day. We have been giving out over 50 masks per day to students and it would be helpful if students had an extra mask in case a mask breaks or needs to be replaced. Masks are required for the bus and to enter the school.

PE Uniforms

PE uniforms can be purchased in the main office. The cost is $20 (the shirt is $10 and the shorts are $10).

Charged Laptops

Students are required to bring their school devices charged each day. There are limited outlets in classrooms to charge devices, so please make sure your child charges their device at home during the evening.

Panther Paws

This week Panther Paws were a different color but still rewarded for great behavior in the hallways and classrooms. The treat cart will be back on Friday. How many treats will we give out this week?
