iPads Among Us...

The iPads cometh...Starting Monday, students in English 9, 10, and 11 and Govt Econ 12 will get their iPads. Distribution will take place in the Library Monday through Thursday. (Teachers who are directly involved have been emailed with the schedule).

We know that both the distribution and the shift to iPads will bring many questions. Thank you in advance for your patience while we figure out the details and embrace these new tools!

Strong Showing by Trojans Over Sonoma

Sorry I don't have all the athletic updates this week. Varsity football enjoyed a solid night at home on Friday vs. Sonoma (51-13 final). And our band sounded and looked great marching in and rooting us all along.

There is a full slate of volleyball, soccer, tennis, and cross country coming up this week. JV and varsity football are on the road at Piner on the weekend.

See the athletics link for calendar and times...

Shameless Plug

Long ago, back in 1990, I was a kindergarten aide in San Francisco at Stuart Hall for Boys. In the other kindergarten, my friend Greg did the same work. He was a budding writer who eventually published his first novel a few years later. Since then, he has published numerous short stories and a collection. This week, his new book came out. If you are a reader, I think it's worth checking out. (The plot involves the mysterious destruction of part of San Francisco and the strange set of memories that the event engenders.)

Greg will be reading at Green Apple Books in the city on Monday, October 12th.
