Book Fair's New Location a Hit! Free Book for each Student

With our new more secured front entrance, our annual fall book fair has been moved to the large group area near third grade. Based on informal poll results, everyone has the same opinion, very cool awesome, convenient, easy to move and supervise area. I hope you had a chance to check it out. Our volunteers make the whole experience that much better. Each child received a free book because of the large amount of Scholastic dollars from our spring fair-OUTSTANDING!

Our students' Creative on Display

Below you will find samples of student art work that Mrs. Fernandez has posted on the bulletin boards in our hallways. The children love to look for their own creation and show all of their friends how awesome it looks. I think they all look terrific. Thanks Mrs. Fernandez!

The Merton Winter Spiritwear Store is open now until November 11th. The items will be available to pick-up at Mid-City Sports before Christmas. Mid-City does have some of the items available to see for sizing purposes ... non-customized and there is a sizing chart available on the site if people want to see how it would fit. Here is the link to the website.

Thank you for supporting two of our big events for the year. Our Book Fair and the Food Drive offer the children to dive into favorite and new books, while remembering to bring in items of food for our local families. The families of Merton are truly the BEST!
