How many cans did we get in the school? Fruitland Elementary School students brought in 5,087 cans.
Did the middle school get more? Yes, the middle school got 551 more cans than us.
What class brought the most cans? Mrs. Grimes’ class brought the most cans.
How many cans did they collect all together? The elementary school and the middle school together collected 10,708 cans.
Who was the kid who brought the most cans in? Liz brought the most cans in.
How many cans did the third graders collect in all? The third graders collected 755 cans.
Did your old school collect cans? No, my old school did not collect cans.
Did we get more than last year? No, we collected less cans than last year.

Christmas Shop Interview
How long is it going for?
It is going on December 11th through the 17th.
Why do you do the Christmas Shop?
We do the Christmas Shop so students can buy things for family and friends.
Why are all the items different prices?
They are different prices because some gifts are big and some are little.
Why do you like doing it? Is it fun?
It's fun to see all the kids buy things for family members.
Do you love Christmas?
Yes we all love Christmas.
Where do you get the wrapping paper?
We get the wrapping paper from Walmart.
Where do the presents come from?
They were donated and we bought them.
What do you do with the money you earn?
We are saving to buy new playground equipment.

I was born in Nyssa, Oregon. My favorite movie is "Star Wars". I like teaching because I like working with kids. My favorite sport is softball. My favorite fish is walleye. My favorite ice cream is pralines and cream. I teach so good because I find assignments for kids. I have read 20 books this year. My favorite song is “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys. My favorite thing to do in my spare time is cooking. My favorite sports team is Chicago Cubs. My favorite animal is a panda bear.
