School Visioning Meeting-January 24
Please save Wednesday, January 24 on your calendar. On this night, we will have a meeting, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. to provide a school update and to collect your input that we will use to help shape the future of our school. Pam Singer, a long-time parishioner, who has experience in facilitating this style of meeting, has agreed to lead this meeting. We will begin our evening in church, with Evening Prayer, at 7:00 p.m. After prayer, we will be gathering in Rooms A & B. At this meeting, the Administration Team will give an overview of our school, in terms of financial and academic information. After this, you will be asked for your input, and have the opportunity to ask questions. We hope to see you there.

Points of Pride Cards
Parents are a key part of a Catholic school’s marketing plan. Your firsthand experience provides a valuable perspective that can help promote our school. The challenge with this, is that parents do not always know how to respond when asked, “Why should I send my child to Blessed Sacrament School?”:
As one of our strategies, our School Marketing Team has developed Points of Pride cards. These cards will be coming home today, and serve two purposes. The first, is to provide you with some selling points about our school. The second, is that you have something to provide a potential family, that has our contact information on it.
We ask that you keep one of the cards for yourself, so you have talking points readily available. The other two cards are for you to give to prospective families, that you know. If you would like to send them through the mail, we would be happy to assist. You can address, and put the card in mail, with a personalized note. If you would like, we can provide the envelopes. We would also be happy to provide postage. If you drop off addressed envelopes, we will mail them for you.
Cards will be going home with the oldest child in your family. If you need more cards, please let me know.
Thank you for supporting our school!

From The Diocese-Shroud of Turin Exhibit
Just in time for the beginning of Lent…the Diocese of Saginaw is honored to host the National Shroud of Turin Replica Exhibit, which is on loan from the Marytown Franciscan community in Illinois. The exhibit includes a large replica of the mysterious shroud whose image has captured the imagination of Christians for centuries, as well as a wealth of information on the history and science connected with the shroud. There is no cost for this exhibit. Here is a link to the website, followed by the exhibition dates and hours:

Northwood University Style Show
This year, the Northwood University Style Show would like to invite the students at Blessed Sacrament to participate in our fashion show this year. We are looking to showcase all types of fashion through our Trend Forecasting theme, and we would love to include your students as models for our show!
We are looking for students grades 3-8 that are willing to walk alongside Northwood students and to show off their personalities on the runway! The Northwood University Style Show team would provide Blessed Sacrament students with their outfits for the show, which we borrow from Michigan based boutiques! All we ask is that your students be available on Friday, April 13th—the date of our show, as well as for occasional model walking practices after school (dates of which are to be determined.)
If you and your student would be interested in participating, or would like more information regarding our show, feel free to contact me at williame@northwood.edu!
