Video Literacy Volunteers Needed!

Our Video Literacy Program needs your help! This exciting program videotapes students from K-5th Grade on their reading progress and asks them fun questions. At the end of 5th grade we put the clips into one big video. We need helpers to come into school and videotape the students. This opportunity is one you will love!

Please contact Amy Ivory at amy.ivory@icloud.com if you could give some time to help us tape or click on this sign-up genius link https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0444AEAA2CA5FA7-videotaping.

Peer Mediators Training

Thanks to Mrs. Moyer, our school counselor, ten new Salford Hills peer mediators joined students from other SASD schools at the Boys and Girls Club. Students learned about how to spot conflicts on the playground and resolution techniques. We're thankful for the fine work of these fourth graders and how they'll make Salford Hills a better place.

KINDNESS

We've been talking a lot about being kind at our school. About if we put kindness at the very center of all that we do and say we'll create a school we want to come to every day. It's not magic, and we're in charge...everyone is.
