Rigorous Curriculum Design for Common Core Standards in Louisiana
Rigorous Curriculum Design is a model for designing or redesigning curriculum so that it truly represents a rigorous 21st-century set of comprehensive units of study that align with Common Core State Standards and Louisiana Education Initiatives including the Classroom Support Toolbox. This two-day seminar will provide an overview of the entire process so that educators and leaders can, over time, follow the plan to create rigorous curricular units of study.

Conference Details
Cost: $250 per person. This fee includes session materials including Larry Ainsworth's book, Rigorous Curriculum Design as well as breakfast and lunch on both days.

Kyra Donovan
Ms. Kyra Donovan is a Professional Development Associate for The Leadership and Learning Center, and has recently contributed a chapter a forthcoming book from HMCO about Rigorous Curriculum Design. Kyra has led her school district students through the Rigorous Curriculum Design process, including K-12 teachers in all content areas.

Dr. Aimee Corrigan is a Professional Development Associate with the Leadership and Learning Center. Aimee brings more than 18 years of teaching and leadership in elementary, secondary, and higher education settings to her current work as a curriculum, data, standards, and assessment specialist with HMHCO.
