From the health office:
Health Screenings- Vision, hearing, body mass index (height and weight) and postural screening (scoliosis) are required by MDPH and will be performed throughout the school year. The TMS nurse will screen all 7th graders for vision, hearing and BMI and will conduct postural screenings for all 6th, 7th and 8th graders throughout the school year. If you choose to refuse to have your child screened, a written parental note is required along with proof that your child has been has been evaluated by a physician for each screening refused.
Vaccinations- Prior to entering the 7th Grade, all students must provide a copy of a current physical (signed by an MD and dated within one year) and proof of the following immunizations: 1 dose of tdap, 2 doses of MMR, 2 doses of Varicella and 3 doses of Hepatitis B. Each time your child receives an immunization or has his or her yearly physical exam, please send a copy to the health office to keep your child’s file up to date.
Washington DC for Eighth Graders
We currently have almost 80 students signed up for the 8th grade Washington DC trip. All TMS students and families participating in the trip must agree to the TMS behavior agreement. The document is here: TMS agreement to travel
There is a link to an electronic agreement on the document, and that is also located here:

Student Information Form
If you haven't already done so, please log onto your student's parent portal and update your information as soon as possible. This form is now past due.
This is a reminder that Tyngsborough Public Schools is now collecting yearly information updates through an online Student Information Form. Most of the information on this form is pre-populated with what we currently have on file. Please review and make changes where necessary. If you have multiple children, you will receive a separate email for each.
Please note that failure to complete this form may result in your child not receiving over the counter medications from the school nurse and will affect their ability to attend field trips.
