Each year the Clarkston Foundation For Education and Suburban Ford of Waterford select one of Clarkston Community School's outstanding teachers as the Teacher of the Year! Clarkston High School's Amy Quayle was selected 2015 Teacher of the Year. Amy is a great example of the outstanding teachers we have in Clarkston. We are fortunate to have the Clarkston Foundation and Suburban Ford of Waterford recognize our teachers each year.

If you know of a Elementary teacher this year that you feel has gone above and beyond, has touched the life of your student through education and mentoring please access the nomination form from the link provided below, or on the Clarkston Foundation Website: www.clarkstonfoundation.org

Complete the necessary information and turn in the nomination form to Anne Collias at the CCS Administration Building.

The selection committee is comprised of community members, retired teachers, and Clarkston Foundation members. The committee will make the announcement of the winning candidate on May 25, 2016 at a ceremony held in the CCS Administration Board Room, everyone is invited to attend. Our hope is that one day the board room will not be big enough to hold everyone that attends the celebration and we will have to move it to the high school gymnasium!
