February News
Dear CCPS families,
I hope you have had a wonderful January. At school, we celebrated the 100th day of school. Classrooms had many different learning activities based around the number 100. We also collected cans for the 100th day of school for Cullman Caring for Kids. and had a great response with this project. Thank you to everyone who donated food the food bank.
Congratulations to our students, Libby Carter, Samantha Miller and Ripkin Oliver! Their art work was chosen to be displayed in the state Superintendent’s visual art exhibit in Montgomery!
We have some new staff members at CCPS. Mrs. Crystal Hudson will be working in our PE department with Coach Bates. Ms. Elizabeth Wilson will be teaching art to our kindergarten and first grade students. We are delighted that they have joined our CCPS team!
There are a number of activities in the month of February. On the 13th, we will dismiss at 11:15 for our teachers to attend professional development and there will be no school on February 18 in observance of Presidents’ Day. Please check your teacher’s newsletters for Board Game Day!
We hope to see you at the Primary School.Tricia Culpepper
