Red Ribbon Week

Monday kicks off our annual celebration of Red Ribbon Week. Each year usually during the last full week in October schools and communities across America celebrate Red Ribbon Week. This celebration gives us an opportunity to focus on healthy living and to learn about the dangers of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, especially to young growing bodies and minds. Every day we are confronted with choices from the moment we wake up until we go to bed at night. Some choices are easy, but others can be tough. Some choices may seem unimportant at the time, but even small choices can end up affecting your whole life. We want everyone to make healthy choices. *The National Red Ribbon Week theme is “Send a Message, Stay Drug Free!”

Keeping you in the loop

February 17th was originally a weather make-up day, but is now a school day to make up for when we were out on September 5 due to a hurricane threat.

Reminder- School starts at 7:40 every day!

Has Anything Changed?

Any time your address, phone number or emergency contact information changes it is essential that you notify the school office. This is especially important in case of an emergency.
