Message from the In-Service Center Director

Hope everyone is off to a great school year. I am excited about all the professional learning that we will be offering throughout this school year.

Later this month, we will be sending out a survey to as many administrators and teachers about their professional learning needs. Please take the time to complete this survey as it will guide us in providing you with the most meaningful professional learning opportunities.

As we prepare for this survey, we are building our email distribution list with current emails. If you would like to be added to our email distribution list to receive professional learning opportunities, please click on the link below and add your email to our list.

Thank you in advance for participating in the upcoming survey of professional learning needs. If you have any questions or suggestions for professional learning, please let me know. My contact information is below.

Spotlight on Athens City Schools

Athens City Schools is comprised of four elementary schools, known as Academies, one intermediate school, one middle school, and one high school. In the last year, Athens City Schools have experienced a great transition with their buildings as the new high school opened in the 2018-2019 school year, and the middle school moved to the old high school. This year, transition continues to be on their list as Athens Elementary moved to the old middle school for the renovation of their school. In the midst of this transition, Athens City Schools continues to make great strides toward excellence.
