Career Exploration & AOP Showcase
Two weeks ago, Mrs. Greer visited Mr. Maeger's social studies classroom to talk to the 8th graders about careers. Students answered interest questionnaires and then went over our answers and decided which careers fit their interests most. This past Thursday, 8th graders attended the AOP Showcase at the Civic Center. 8th grade students had an opportunity to learn about jobs they may be interested in the Upstate. Students were encouraged to talk to at least four representatives from local businesses during the field trip to learn about possible career options.
