A Note from Our Principal

Hello Gator families,

This year at Anderson, we will celebrate Valentine's Day on Wednesday, Feb. 10. Each classroom will have a small party which will include an individually wrapped snack and a fun activity or craft. Just like with our winter parties, parents and guests will not be allowed to attend Valentine parties this year due to districtwide Covid restrictions.

One important change from previous years is that students will NOT be allowed to exchange Valentine cards or treats with their classmates this year. We are sad to have to make this change, but our first priority is the health and safety of our students and staff. Please, please don't send Valentine cards to school with your student. We will not be able to pass them out. We will do our very best to give our Gators a fun and memorable Valentine party experience this year, even without the cards.

As a reminder, February 11-12 are calendar break days for students and staff.

Thank you in advance for your help and support!

-Ms. Falcon

The book fair is back March 1-5!

We are so excited to announce that our spring Book Fair will be on its way to campus in just a few weeks. Students will be able to visit the Book Fair in the library March 1-5. Unfortunately, parents and visitors will not be able to shop with their students during school hours due to Covid restrictions.

However, we will have a family night on Wednesday, March 3 from 4-5:30 pm so that our remote students and any parents who would like to shop with their children may do so. Please look for more information on the Book Fair coming soon!
