THE HISTORY!!!
The John Hancock tower was completed and opened in 1976. It was made by I.M Pei and partners. The John Hancock tower was designed by Henry N. Cobb and partners. In 1967 they showed their plan to Gov. John Volpe and he approved ten years later the tower was built.

The John Hancock Tower is 240 M (790 feet) tall and rises to the city skyline.

Over 10,000 windows fell and smashed off the concrete. A couple months later they replaced it . It cost 5,000,000 dollars.

Why It Failed
The John Hancock tower had a major problem the building was not stable. The people on the top floors were getting motion sickness and the tower was swaying. There was a even bigger problem the windows were smashing hundreds of feet below.
