Hello all! It's hard to believe Winter is setting in already, the holidays are upon us, and we are on the countdown to ASTE 2016! These are exciting times in education and ASTE provides just the needed support to keep your classroom/school moving toward College/Career Readiness and 21st Century Learning. The ASTE Conference is the perfect technology "shot in the arm" with a dose of ideas to keep you busy all year long. If you have not already done so, please find our ASTE STEM Network Facebook group and request to join. Also, check out our ASTE STEM Network events leading up to ASTE 2016 below. Promoting an Hour of Code for every Alaska student!

Through motivating topics like Frozen and Star Wars, your students can learn basics of code and become motivated to learn more in just one hour! Sign your students and/or school up for the Hour of Code event during CS Education Week, December 7-13. Your ASTE STEM Network Leaders, Jenn and Anthony, challenge you to get your entire school signed up for Hour of Code NOW. Join the rage and hook your students forever. Let's represent Alaska BIG on the map for Hour of Code! ALL AGES!
