Hinkle Creek Chronicle

Lawrence Limelight

Hinkle Creek Parents, Guardians, and Friends,

We had the pleasure of listening to our Hinkle Creek Cougar Choir this past Wednesday when they performed at the Federal Hill Commons. Thank you Cougar Choir for putting us in the holiday spirit and representing our school. It was a perfect prelude to a fun night of skating at the nearby ice rink. It was great to see so many Hinkle Creek families having fun and experiencing a winter wonderland experience. A special thank you to Mrs. Kunkel for organizing the musical presentation. It was so much fun!

Next eLearning Day

Our next eLearning day is just around the corner on Monday, January 9, 2023. If, for any reason, you are unable to secure supervision for your child that day please call the front office at (317) 776-0840 by Wednesday, December 21st to let us know.

Appropriate Winter Attire

While we enjoyed a beautiful fall season with lots of sunny, warm days, winter weather has arrived. Please be aware that we try to give our students outdoor recess as much as possible even in the colder months. This means that we need students to dress warmly so they can enjoy their outdoor recess with classmates. Please make sure your student has a warm winter coat, gloves and a hat. If you are in need of winter assistance, please contact our school social worker, Taylor Klaum (taylor_klaum@nobl.k12.in.us). We are more than happy to help our families.

Academic Reminder

Parents, we have only two weeks left before Winter Break. However, these are two very important weeks for learning. Our teachers are going to continue to challenge all students and to teach as much as possible until we come to the break. Please continue to urge your student to give 100% effort towards learning over these next two weeks. Thank you for supporting your child and our school.

Have a great week!

Jack Lawrence; Principal at Hinkle Creek

Emergency Contacts and Pick-Ups:

Parents/Guardians: It is important that the school has current contact information for you on file. In the event that the school is unable to reach a parent/guardian, the school will call the emergency contact name/number that you have provided. This individual would also be allowed to pick-up your child if you can't be reached. If you would prefer for any of the emergency contacts to not have the ability to pick-up your child, please reach out to your child's school so they can note this accordingly in our system.
