Letters of Intent are going home in the couriers today. Please complete and return them to your student's homeroom teacher on Monday, April 30th. This important feedback is needed in order to plan for the 2018-19 school year. Thank you.

It's Time for Eagles to Step Up!

Parents of Rising Kindergarten - Rising 6th Graders,

You are invited and encouraged to attend Evansdale's Annual Step Up Night, May 3rd, 6 p.m. This event will give you a sneak peek into your student's 2018-19 school year. You will get to meet the grade level teachers, see the classrooms, get supply lists, and much more! We hope to see you all next Thursday evening.

A Member of Atlanta United soccer team visited Evansdale This Week

Evansdale's 2nd and 3rd graders had an awesome assembly this week. Lagos Kunga from Atlanta United spoke with them about working hard in school to meet their goals. he also took a few minutes to share some of his best soccer moves.

7 Days until the Olympic Games Begin!

Olympic Day is on May 4th! The opening Ceremonies will begin in the carpool circle at 8:15 a.m. Pre-K - 2nd grade will be on the lower field from 9-10:30. During the same time period 3rd -5th will be on the Blacktop and front lawn. The afternoon session will go from 12:30-2 p.m. . PreK - 2nd grade will be then be on the blacktop and front lawn and 3rd-5th will be on the lower field. We need volunteers to help this day run smoothly. The link to the Sign up is:

Refreshments: Students are encouraged to bring water bottles for Olympic Day. The PTA will provide popsicles for students at the end of the day. There will be a concession stand (benefiting the 5th grade), so please send money with your child in a labeled bag if you want him/her to purchase any concession items.

Lunch: The school menu calls for sack lunches. If you plan to eat lunch with your child, please notify your teacher before Olympic Day.

Dress: Students are to wear their Olympic Day T-shirt, sport shoes, and shorts/sweatpants. If you did not buy an Olympic Day T-shirt, please ask your child's teacher what color the class represents and send your child in a t-shirt of a matching color. Also, please apply sunscreen to your child that morning.
