Family Resource Fair
Back-to-School Free Family Resource Fair
The Back-to-School Free Family Resource Fair will be held on Saturday, August 20, on the Fort Hayes campus from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All CCS families will be invited to join us. Imagine the Fort Hayes campus filled with tents and booths from all our community partners who want to share resources with our students and families to get them ready for a successful school year. Key district departments will also be on hand to address last-minute needs.

The Scholastic Summer Reading program offers kids an exciting, free, and safe summer reading experience, while helping to provide books to kids with limited or no access over the summer, keeping every child reading.

Scouting Event
Cub Scout Pack 3128 is in Northwest Columbus. We serve boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade with the Columbus City Schools who attend Cranbrook, Gables, and Winterset Elementary Schools, and students from these schools who attend the Columbus Gifted Academy. The Cub Scout program is part of the Boy Scouts of America. We are a group of volunteers who are invested in the lives of our community's children. Cub Scout programming meets children where they are developmentally, while introducing them to leadership, citizenship, duty to God, and outdoor adventures. Columbus Fashion Alliance
Introduction to Fashion. Students learn from entrepreneurs and industry professionals with an opportunity to gain real world experience of what it means to be in the fashion industry. Topics includes design, technical design, sourcing, materials, suppliers, styling, merchandising, marketing/branding, innovation, and more.
Columbus Urban League
Youth will participate in an online and in-person learning experience called VLOG 2021. VLOG 2021 will help youth polish critical digital skills using YouTube as a primary platform, creating and developing digital content. Participants will create their own VLOGs (Video Blog) to share reflections on COVID-19, racism and more. Each youth will also develop a marketing strategy to attract “viewers” to watch their final videos on YouTube.
Heart of JOB Foundation
This new state-of-the-art Music Production workshop prepares adolescents for future careers in the music industry through hands-on experience and professional development. MP 100 teaches participants that creative arts like music are not only a hobby but a skillset that can lead to rewarding careers in entertainment. Modules are divided into four disciplines: 1) Executive Media Production, 2) Music Business Intelligence, 3) Innovation Engineering & Entrepreneurship, 4) Digital Audio Technologies.
The Ohio State University
One week pre-college summer business residential program. Students receive an introduction to college life and experience business education from finance to leadership to professional image, topics are wide-ranging. Participants receive a certificate of completion at the end.
Warhol&WallST
Lead youth in a 8-week masterclass on the various aspects of brand campaign and content creation led by influential mentor experts and presenters.
Students will research and explore an issue that matters to youth in their age group, neighborhoods, and/or popular culture and how they might disrupt that issue with a positive summer youth campaign.
