Life at Ambleside
I am , I can, I ought, I will
From the Desk of Mrs. Flora
I hope this newsletter finds you in the Christmas spirit. With the hustle and bustle of the week I thought it prudent to write to you early this week.
Last week brought some unexpected changes to the Ambleside family and an addition we have been prayerful for. On Friday Mr. Swecker our math and science teacher resigned to pursue his other passions, we wish him the best in his endeavors. Until that position is filled all students in Mr. Swecker's classes previously will now be taught by me. Starting in January Mrs. Scott our part-time PK/kindergarten teacher assistant will move to full time pre-kindergarten teacher. Mrs. Scott is a certified teacher and brings many years of experience in early childhood education, we are blessed to have her. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
I hope each of you will join us for Candlelight on Thursday evening at First Christian Church at 6:00 pm. The halls have been filled with beautiful and joyful music these last few weeks and I guarantee you will be blessed by these performances. Candlelight will not only delight your ears but your eyes will be dazzled as well with the art work so meticulous created by each Ambleside student.
To wrap up our week before Christmas break students will carol and deliver cookies to places all over San Angelo. Students are encouraged to dress festive for this event. After students give they will then return to campus to enjoy cookies with their classmates.
From my family to yours we wish you a very Merry Christmas and wonderful New Year. May we all remember the reason for the season.
Every Blessing,
Mrs. Flora
