PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
Dear Parents,
This month Roosevelt celebrated the 90th day of school by highlighting our 90th school year. We were delighted to host many former students and teachers at Roosevelt. Together they shared stories and memories with our students and staff. In addition, Roosevelt alum, Jonathan, shared his research on the history of Roosevelt School with everyone as an Eagle Scout Project. Please view the news article below for more information about our special 90th Year celebration:
In addition to our 90th year celebration, Roosevelt celebrated our cultural diversity with a global theme during our annual Open House. Students participated in a cultural parade, and we watched five different folk dances in the auditorium. Thank you to our PTO for organizing this event.
Have a wonderful day!

Girls on the Run Coaches Still Needed!!
The PTO is still seeking 1-2 more coaches and a chairperson for the Girls on the Run committee for this school year. The commitment would be Mondays/Wednesdays after school from about 3:30-5:30 p.m.
If we do not get additional parent volunteers, then we will not be able to have the Girls on the Run program this year at Roosevelt. Please consider helping out!

Put Your Child’s Name on Everything!
As winter approaches, students are bringing more clothing items to school each day. Write your child’s name and teacher’s name on hats, gloves, coats, lunch bags, boots, backpacks, and all other items. This will avoid your belongings being placed in our lost and found.
