It is hard to believe it is already October.

October brings virtual parent conferences (this week), the end of the first nine weeks (in 2 more weeks), the end of the first sports' seasons and the start of the fall sports' seasons.

If you have not made plans for a parent conference and would like to schedule one, please make sure and reach out to your students' teachers.

Tryouts begin October 11.

Make sure you have uploaded your physical and all other required information into Dragonfly.com prior to tryouts.

As a reminder, school will dismiss at 1:00 Thursday for virtual parent conferences. Friday is a teacher workday. There is no school (in-person or remote) for students on Friday.

December 15 - Stanley Christmas Parade - we will dismiss early on this date due to road closures on Main Street and on the back roads.

Please make sure and send a refillable/screw-on lid water bottle to school with your student each day. This allows them to stay hydrated during the day. We are using water fountains as refill stations only. Many students recycle a plain "Aquafina, Desani, (whatever you buy at the grocery store) water bottle which is perfect.

Please make sure that if your student brings their chromebook to school that they bring it back charged each day.

As a reminder, any student who is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 should be kept at home and not allowed to come to school. Please notify the school if your child is sick. Also, students who have been exposed to a person with COVID-19, who are awaiting COVID-19 test results, or who are under quarantine should not come to school.
