Bronco Leadership Code
Our Bronco Leadership Code is how we recognize our students each month at our GRIT assemblies. Each letter in LEADERSHIP stands for a trait we, as a district, strive to live out. October we are looking for ATTITUDE and will recognize students at our GRIT assemblies at the end of the month. Parents and families of students who are chosen will be contacted by their teachers and are invited to join us at these assemblies.
5th grade GRIT Assembly: Thursday, October 26
6th Grade GRIT Assembly: Friday, October 27
Meadow Brook will be hosting SOCKTOBER! We will collect new pairs of socks in homerooms--and it's a competition! The homeroom that collects the most pairs of socks by the end of the month will win a surprise celebration! Donations will be accepted October 1-31.
MBI Quarter 1 Fun Day!
At the end of each quarter, our Life Apps teachers plan a FUN DAY! Concessions will be sold and fun games and tournaments will be played during Life Apps time (5th grade 8:30-10:30; 6th grade 1:00-3:00). Quarter 1 is a NUKE 'EM tournament (ask your student about this game!) All money collected will fund our end of year Super Fun Day! Entry forms are due Monday, October 9--don't miss out on this one!

Attendance is Important
Missing school adds up! Our goal is for all MBI students to achieve 95% attendance or higher in the 23-24 school year. We are a fourth of the way through the year--where is your attendance rate currently sitting?
We are hoping to partner with parents to provide an amazing 23 - 24 school year experience for our students! If you would be interested in helping in some capacity throughout the year, please fill out this Google Form. Thank you!

Car Rider Loop
Thank you for making our car rider line safe and efficient!
A few reminders:

- Create two lines until merging at the double cones
The first quarter of the 2023-2024 school year flew by from all the learning and fun that was had at Meadow Brook. We are so proud of our students, teachers, and community for showing GRIT and making the most of each day. Let's keep it going strong heading into Quarter 2!
