Principal Message
Next week begins our Fall Goal Setting Conferences: Oct. 3-11
Please remember that All students will release on our Short Day Schedule for all 7 days.
These conferences are opportunities for parents/guardians to meet with their child's teacher to discuss areas of strengths and difficulty. We also want this to be an opportunity to get to know each other and strengthen the ties between home and school. Please let the teacher know what support you feel you need to foster and participate in the learning that happens at school.
This week at Fammatre, several of our grade levels filled their token towers. This is an exciting accomplishment! Inquire if your student's class was one of the grade levels to achieve this feat. We also had our first Student Advisory Board meeting of the year. We discussed ways we could make Fammatre an even better place to learn and many great ideas were generated. We also discussed spirit days for the school year. Next week, all students will vote for the top choices.
Fammatre Giving Campaign
Giving Campaign Facts:
Did you know that the Home and School Club funds our wonderful Makerspace area, plus our fantastic Makerspace teacher, Mrs. Voss? The contributions to our Giving Campaign last year have made it possible for our kids to have Makerspace time every other week instead of every three weeks this year. We hope to keep this up by achieving our Giving Campaign goal this year. The kids have been loving their time in the bigger Makerspace classroom and this time is a highlight of many kids' weeks. Our kids are learning valuable STEM theories and learning how to apply them to real-world concepts, while strengthening their teamwork skills. We are so lucky to have such an engaging and fun space and we could not do it without your generous support to our Giving Campaign. You can donate for this year via PayPal, Venmo, or by check made out to the FHSC (reference Giving Campaign). You may also donate at fammatrehsc.com.

Student Social Emotional Well-Being
In order to learn more about student experiences, Cambrian School District is partnering with Kelvin Education to conduct student surveys for students TK-5th grade. Through these surveys, the school will gain valuable information about the social-emotional needs of our students and the climate and culture of our schools. The results of these surveys help inform both school-based and district-wide initiatives to support the social and emotional health of our community. If you would like to opt your child out of participating in the surveys please download and print the form below and return to our school office by October 14.
Walk To School Day: Wed., October 5th

Free & Reduced Lunch Application Form
Please complete the Free & Reduced Meal Program process to take advantage of benefits that help your family and help Bagby. Bagby could possibly get valuable Title I funding based on the number of participants in the Free & Reduced Meal Program. However, since all school meals have been at no cost to families this year, fewer families who would normally be a part of the program have completed the form.
Use the link on theFree & Reduced Meal Application for the Free and Reduced Lunch Application. If you have any questions about Titan or the free meals application form, please contact Chris Battaglia at battagliac@cambriansd.com.
