Remember the Dead - November 18, 2015

FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK

How quickly the month of November passes! Here we are in the middle of the month and the middle of the second quarter already. Midquarter reports are being sent home with students today, Grades 3-8. Please contact the teacher if you have questions or concerns regarding the report.

Congratulations to our second grade students who celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation last night. Special thanks to you parents, Mrs. Bolzenius, Mrs. Steinlage, and Fr. Medina for bringing these children even closer to Jesus.

Don’t forget that tonight is the night to “Get Inspired” at Freddy’s. Remember to take the flyer along because that will give you a discount. Thank you for your support of this worthwhile effort.

Next week will be a short week at school. School will be in session only on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Tuesday is our designated Spirit Day. The 8th grade versus Faculty volleyball game is scheduled for 2:00 in the gym on that day as well. All are invited to join the fun. That evening, the basketball season will get started with a scrimmage game. Bring a canned food item or $1.00 for your entrance fee. These will be forwarded on to the Samaritan Center.

Our music teacher, Miss Hirsch, will be away from school for several weeks due to health issues. Please keep her in your prayers.

Because there is only two days of school next week, the STAR will not be sent home until Dec.2.

May you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving, safe travels, good food, and great fellowship with one another.
