We will be beginning out multiplication and division unit shortly. It would be a great help to begin studying multiplication facts with your child. Flashcards are great!

You can also access Timez Attack (Big Brainz) at home and this is a wonderful resource that we use in school.

You can even check out our math curriculum online, Pearson, and look up the exact topic we have assigned as homework. This will have videos that you can watch with you child if they need a little review of the concept. pearson.pisd.edu

We have been learning a lot about engineers in science so far this year! We were very fortunate to have Mr. Saloma from the SMU School of Engineering come speak to our third graders. We learned that Engineering is AWESOME! Thank you Mr. Saloma!

Check out this awesome video that we watched in class showing a great example of how even a third grader can become an engineer!
