School Calendar Change-May 12th
Under Governor Jim Justice’s COVID-19 Executive Order No.18-20, West Virginia’s 2020 Primary Election has been moved to June 9 instead of the originally scheduled date of May 12 creating a change to our school calendar.
The Outside Environment Day (OSE Day) that was originally schedule for June 9 has been swapped with Primary Election Day of May 12. June 9 is now the Primary Election Day meaning all employees will be off, and schools and offices closed.
May 12 is now a “No School” day with no instruction. However, May 12 will now be a work day for 261 day employees and 240 day custodians only.
