Certification for Administering the WIDA Assesments
The WIDA Screener, Kindergarten W-APT, and 2019 ACCESS tests can only be administered by licensed teachers who have received certification. Test administers need to have completed certification training within two years of the date they are administering the test.
This WIDA Screener "Let's Get Going" Flyer details the steps a test administrator must take to prepare for administering the online Screener. Embedded within the flyer are links to essential checklists and tutorials.
WIDA Screener Interpretive Guide for Score Reports
WIDA has recently released a WIDA Screener Interpretive Guide for Score Reports. This guide helps school staff understand how the online and paper Screener tests are scored, what the scores mean, and how to use the scores. This document can be found here.
