by Bryan Flynn and Owen Foster
What they are
Air Marshals are armed Federal law enforcement officers who are deployed on flights internationally to protect passengers from crimes.
Education and Training Needed to Work
People wanting to be a Air Marshal must undergo background checks, mental health screenings , fitness tests, drug test, ect. They must be between 21 and 37 years of age. They also must have the highest pistol qualification score among all enforcement agencies.
Pay
They can earn from $46,950 up to $82,417 per year.
What they do
They pretend to be a regular passenger on a plane and if a crime happens on the plane they stop it.
Pros and Cons
Pros: good pay, x-military may qualify, lots of down time
cons: boring, your schedule can change fast, work may have to work 7 days a week
Would we want to Pursue in This
We would not want to pursue in this because, you sit on a plane for more than 5 hours and do nothing unless there is a crime on the plane.
