Winger Study for 7-12th graders

Tuesday, Oct. 19th, 3:45-4:45pm

Red Wing, MN

ALL students are invited and welcomed to attend to get extra work time and support in their studies. Students do not need an appointment to attend but are encouraged to communicate with their teachers if they need materials, help or tests to work on during this time. All students will need to have their own transportation home from Winger Study.


7 and 8th Grade: Mrs. Martin

Language arts and Social studies: Mrs. Oquist

Math and Science: Mr. Milani

Other subject areas can be addressed in all areas as well.

U.S. Senate Youth Program

U.S. Senate Youth Program

The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) administers the United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP), an annual scholarship competition funded by the William Randolph Hearst Foundation and sponsored by the U.S. Senate. Each year, Minnesota selects two high school juniors or seniors to participate in the USSYP. The delegates receive a $10,000 undergraduate college scholarship and will be part of Washington Week Online. The packet must be postmarked or emailed by midnight on Friday, October 29, 2021.

Please help us promote this exciting program by sharing the link below with high school principals, counselors and other educators and staff who can help spread the word. The webpage below includes the student application, the program brochure and additional information.

Register your 7-12th grader to get their annual flu shot while at school!


Parents should sign up online or if needed or we will have paper copies in the RWHS nurse's office.

Community Members are welcome to register to attend the community flu clinic held in the RWHS cafeteria.

UNITY DAY AT RWHS

Red Wing High School will be celebrating UNITY DAY on Wednesday! Everyone is invited to participate by wearing ORANGE to show that we can come together to promote KINDNESS & ACCEPTANCE and also shed light on bullying awareness.
