Counseling News

CRF Audits
If they haven't already had their meeting, all 9th-11th grade students will be meeting with their counselors between now and Spring Break to go over what they requested on their CRFs, and make sure the selections will meet graduation requirements and goals for the future. Because of the time involved in this process, please allow extra time for Counselors to respond when you contact them.

Military Fair

Thursday, April 5, students are welcome to come out to the Library Quad at lunch to meet with representatives from the Military branches.

RACC College Fair

Friday, April 20, we will have representatives from over 20 colleges in the Library Quad at student lunch. Check the flyer below for a list of colleges.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

Tip: When scholarships require essays, students frequently pass on applying, which means less competition. Giving up a couple hours of your time to write a good essay, could end up being a great way to gain some money for college.

You can find lots of information about scholarships and financial aid on our website! Check Academics / College/Career / Scholarships/Financial Aid. For the Scholarship Deadline Log, click here.

Community Scholarships
We have applications for four different local community scholarships in the office, so stop by to get more information!

There are always opportunities for students to find and apply for college scholarships. Here are two of the websites our students frequently view to explore scholarship opportunities:

Fast Web

Fast Web is the most comprehensive site with thousands of scholarship listings. http://www.fastweb.com/

Scholarships.com also has thousands of scholarships, and frequently offers them in a monthly format by deadlines. http://www.scholarships.com
