Happy New Year 2018 The Year of Harvest
Happy New Year and Welcome to 2018. This is your year and it will be filled with tremendous opportunity. You will reap what you have sown. We thank the Lord for life, health and strength. We know that He has promised great things.
Jeremiah 29:11 New International Version (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
We are starting the year off with our season of fasting and prayer. We want this season to be focused on our sincere commitment to the Lord. We want the Lord to examine our motives and our intentions for all of our activities going forward with the right heart we press on. Please read Isaiah Chapter 1 vs 1-20.
We invite you to join us in prayer each night this week from 7-8:30 pm. We will then pray together on Thursday evenings for the remaining weeks in January.
The Prayer Focus
Week 1 Personal Walk with the Lord
Week 2: Family
Week 3: Church Family
Week 4: Our Community.

Keys For Success in 2018
We all want to be successful in our efforts. In the Book of Proverbs, we find 4 keys to success
Proverbs 24:3-6 New King James Version (NKJV)
3 Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; 4 By knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches. 5 A wise man is strong, Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength; 6 For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.
Key 1. Wise planning: We must think through our plans thoroughly. A wise plan will answer the following questions; who, what, when, where, why, and how. We must have answers to these questions before starting any venture.
Key 2. Common Sense: According to Dictionary.com common sense is sound practical judgment that is independent of specialized knowledge, training, or the like; normal native intelligence. Your idea must make sense. Trust your intuition and don’t launch out into something that doesn’t feel right.
Key 3. Staying up to date: If your idea is outdated it is doomed to failure. You must stay up to date on your industry so that you can remain a head of the curve.
Key 4. Many Counselors: It is good practice to seek the advice of many counselors before starting or making any major decision. It is not foolish to ask for advise it is only foolish if you don't.
