Read Across America Day was Tuesday, March 2nd, to celebrate, several teachers submitted book recommendations to a Flibpgrid video chain. The next time you're scrambling for a new story, scroll through our video recommendations and fill up your to-read list!
New Tool Suggestion: Ayoa
I'm constantly looking for new ways to keep myself more organized, and Ayoa is a favorite new tool! This virtual whiteboard and mind-mapping app creates an online brainstorm space for easy project visualization. The free platform includes five boards that can be repurposed for different to-do lists, task management plans, and brainstorming spaces. If you're constantly bogged down with homework and to-do lists, Ayoa is the perfect tool to try!
Database Highlight: World News Digest
The library is in full research mode this semester, and my biggest advice for struggling students is my simplest advice: if you get stuck, try something new. Using new search terms or checking a new database will do wonders for your research process!
Speaking of the research process, view my latest database overview video focusing on World News Digest. World News Digest builds its information around key news stories from the last 60+ years, so it's an excellent resource for highlighting current events and providing context to landmark events throughout history.
