COMMUNICATION PROCESS
LISTENING
People can process two to six different topics. Don't throw everything you know at the student. Be selective in your conversation.
ACTIVE LISTENERS CAN MANAGE BARRIERS BY FOCUSING ON WHAT IS BEING SAID
Heynabonics
*The less we know about a topic the more indifferent we tend to be.
*If the audience doesn't know the topic relate it to something the audience does
know.
*Studies show we trust people who we believe have our best interest in mind.
*Don't use tunnel vision.
