Spirit Day Assembly
We started our activities with an energy-filled game of human hungry hippos. Teachers and students, riding on scooters, had a blast scooping up as many balls as they could in an upside-down laundry basket before being pulled back to their teammates with a rope tied to their scooters. A teacher-student style show ended the assembly with participants modeling various types of clothing found in our lost and found department. Both students and teachers strutted their stuff to Madonna’s song “Vogue” in hopes of finding the owners to some of Gayman’s finery.
Spotlight On Music
Please mark your calendars for the last "Spotlight on Music" performance.
Tuesday, May 12th - Grade 1 at 6:00 PM and Grade 4 at 7:00 PM.

May Boomerang Award
This year, Gayman will continue to accept nominations for the Boomerang Award, which is our way of honoring students who best demonstrate their own developmental assets. What are Developmental Assets? Students possessing a combination of “40 Assets” are typically most successful in school and in life. These assets have the power to influence choices young people make and help them become caring, responsible adults. For a complete listing of the 40 Developmental Assets and the Nomination form please click on the link below:

Kids Care Club "Earth Day"
Kids Care Club got a crash course on farming and planting from Mr. Grace, as well as a special visit from his wormy friends. We spent time talking about ways to be kinder to the earth by recycling, reusing and planting trees. We learned about growing and eating nutritious food and the kindness in sharing food with others. Kids got to see composting first hand and plant their own veggies to take home.
Due to the generosity of the Gayman Community, Kids Care Club was able to donate a full car load of food to Bucks County Housing Group who operates food pantries benefitting local families in need.
